We’ve got some very exciting news to share with you...Packington Free Range and Seasoned Cookery School are going to be working together in an exclusive relationship which will see our free range pork and poultry being used for a range of their fantastic cookery courses.
The Cookery School, Seasoned, is based in a beautiful courtyard property at Catton Hall, Derbyshire and was opened in 2010 by Clare Tetley, with the aim of providing fun food education and cookery skills to people of all levels and abilities. Here’s what Clare had to say: “We enjoy working with and promoting the produce of local farmers in the area and Packington is just based within 10 minutes’ drive of the cookery school. Packington’s animals are reared in a natural and stress-free environment and therefore the meat they produce is of an excellent quality. Their ethos and ours at Seasoned fit together perfectly and we hope to inspire anyone who comes along to any of our cookery courses to take advantage of using the best local produce.”
This is a brilliant opportunity for us here at Packington and as you can imagine we’re thrilled to be working with and supporting the Seasoned Cookery School. What’s more it’s right on our doorstep, and so together we can communicate to customers our shared beliefs in providing and cooking with quality local produce.
Just some of the courses we will be providing our free range meat for are - ‘Under Utilised Cuts of Meat,’ ‘Flavours of India,’ ‘Essential Italian’ and ‘Delicious Prepare-ahead Dinners.’ However the course we’re probably most excited about is the forthcoming ‘Festive Demo & Dine Evening’ on the 6th December which aims to provide top tips for creating a classic Christmas meal alongside some new and exciting ideas for an alternative festive feast!
