2024 - ANOTHER AMAZING YEAR
Since thee start of January 2024, Patshull Activity Centre has worked with young people (and their leaders) from a variety of voluntary-based youth organisations, including: Boys Brigade, Cadets, Church groups, Guides, Scouts, Youth Clubs and many more. This has resulted in:
• 6402 overnight stays – an incredible increase of 1,580 nights compared to 2023!
• 2848 participants taking part in our activities
This means thousands of young people have enjoyed 384,482 hours away from game consoles and with limited mobile reception, fully embracing the outdoors in a beautiful and safe setting – a 210,890 hour increase from the previous year!
Unlike many other charities and outdoor activity centres, Patshull Activity Centre is entirely volunteer-led. With no paid staff, everything we do is made possible by the generosity, dedication, and passion of our amazing team of volunteers.
REINVESTING
100% of income generated is reinvested back into the site, ensuring improved facilities to make future visits even more memorable. Some of the improvements made recently are:
• Addition of Kayaking and Raft Building store in the Lakeside Activity Building,
• Addition of a new indoor Tomahawk Axe Throwing Range in the Lakeside Activity Building.
• Toilet Facilities added to the Paddock camping area.
• Upgraded archery range now providing shelter from the elements and enabling year round use.
• Upgraded air rifle range to update and allow 5 users at a time.
• Creation of additional volunteer accommodation to provide more volunteers with overnight accommodation.
• Plus much more!
SITE SECURITY
We previously announced that the Mercer family agreed a new lease with the Activity Centre, ensuring their future is secure at Patshull until at least December 2040!
"We are so thankful! The work we are able to do, means so much to us! A big shout out to the Mercer family for your continued support!" - Patshull Activity Centre Management

The Activity Centre offers some of the most competitive site fees around to ensure that as many young people get to experience what they have to offer.
