Judges comments

We're so proud of these results, especially our free-range eggs, as this was the first time they've been entered into the awards, so to receive a 2-star the first time is amazing:

"These eggs have a crisp porcelain albumen and a vibrant orange yolk. These full flavoured eggs are rich, creamy and utterly delicious."

Our cockerel has yet again won another 2-star award, and is the only one in the whole awards to gain this level:

"Visually striking, this bird has a deep golden colour which is inviting.  It would be a fantastic centrepiece because of its size. The meat, both breast and leg, is tender, succulent and melts in the mouth. Overall, the flavour is delicious with a distinctive taste. It would make a good alternative to turkey at Christmas."
