B Corp Certified

At Packington Free Range, we’ve always believed that farming should be done properly - with care for the animals, the land, and the people we feed.

That’s why we’re proud to be a Certified B Corporation.

B Corp certification recognises businesses that meet high standards of social responsibility, environmental care, transparency and accountability. It’s about balancing profit with purpose, and using business as a force for good.

What is B Corp?

B Corp is a global movement of companies that are verified to be meeting rigorous standards across five key areas:

  • Environment – protecting and improving the natural world
  • Workers – fair treatment, wellbeing and opportunity
  • Community – positive impact locally and beyond
  • Customers – transparency, trust and quality
  • Governance – accountability and long-term responsibility

Certification is awarded by B Lab, an independent non-profit organisation, following a detailed and robust assessment.

What B Corp Means for Packington

Becoming B Corp certified independently recognises what we’ve always stood for as a family farm:

  • High-welfare farming that puts animals first
  • Protecting the land for future generations
  • Supporting education, farming charities and local communities
  • Full provenance and traceability from farm to fork
  • Making decisions for the long term, not the short term

It confirms that our values aren’t just words - they’re built into how we run our business every day.

A Commitment, Not a Badge

B Corp certification isn’t a one-off achievement. Certified businesses must recertify every three years, showing continued improvement and accountability.

For us, it’s a commitment to keep asking:
Can we do this better? More responsibly? More thoughtfully?
