Every farm has a story - but it’s the people at the heart of it who truly bring it to life. In our Meet the Farmer series, we’re introducing the individuals behind the produce at Packington Free Range, sharing a glimpse into who they are, what they care about, and why they do what they do.
From early mornings to changing seasons, farming isn’t just their work - it’s a way of life shaped by passion, pride, and a deep connection to the land.

What do you love about farming?
I love caring for and spending time with the animals as they give us all a sense of achievement to see what they produce. My part also covers setting up new farms and problem solving, which I love.
What are your main challenges in farming?
The weather!! Winters can be a big burden on us, and now Summer seems to be getting hotter, this is presenting a new challenge!
If farming wasn’t in the picture, where would life have taken you?
My dream would be to have a small holding with a campsite, somewhere in the South of England with equestrian facilities for my wife and daughter.
And finally………What is your favourite Packington Free Range product?
My favourite is our delicious cockerel, which we are fortunate enough to be gifted at Christmas.
