I have always had a good turkey at Christmas but after reading reviews I decided to try a Packington turkey. It was delicious. Moist and flavourful there was so much meat on the bird. Plenty for cold cuts the next day. I will never order a turkey again a Packington cockerel will be my go to all the time now.

Well packaged with ice packs in an insulated box and even even arrived slightly before time slot. Haven’t cooked it yet, but it’s a good size and we enjoyed them in previous years when we lived locally.

We have bought Packington chickens for many years from a local supplier, unfortunately, this relationship ceased post Covid. However, we did find that it was possible to obtain chickens directly from Packington and have been more than pleased the service. The chickens are delivered, over night, in a well insulated box with freezer blocks and are in a good condition when they arrive.

I'm probably preaching to the converted but just in case you're reading this and you haven't sampled any of the Packingtons offer, look no further and make your first purchase. I've been getting my Christmas Cockerel for over a decade from Packingtons and they have always delivered a delicious bird. A must have alternative to the Turkey. During the year I often get a large chickens as well but on this occasion I just purchased the wings. 6 packs of 6 wings and they were fantastic. Unlike the small wings you get from supermarkets, these wings were a good size and absolutely delicious when seasoned with my Caribbean seasoning. I baked half in the oven and fried the other half. They were great value even with the postage added. As always. I'm a very happy Packingtons customer. Good luck and happy eating.

This is a fine-looking bird, with beautiful golden skin and tender flesh. The meat has plenty of flavour and texture, and it is tender and succulent, not tough. Judges particularly liked its distinctive character, depth of flavour and juicy, tender flesh.

The meat, both breast and leg, is tender, succulent and melts in the mouth. Overall, the flavour is delicious with a distinctive taste. It would make a good alternative to turkey at Christmas,

This beautiful, burnished bird has gorgeous meaty aromas and a juicy, creamy flesh. The skin is crisp and flavourful with just a hint of delicious fat. The meat holds together well, with a pleasing chew and good meaty texture. It's a decidedly more complex and satisfying bird than the regular chicken.

I started purchasing from Packington over 10 years ago. I wanted to start cooking with good quality product.
It tasted so, so differently to the chicken breast fillets i used to buy from supermarkets.
At that time our two younger sons made what I thought was a profound comment regarding Packington Chicken Fillets which was...

"Wow, this is so tasty, it tastes so different"
They did not need as much Chicken because the quality is there.
